Since I get many inquiries for dates the deposit helps with your commitment to have me on your wedding day and I will set aside that date for you.

There is a saying in the image creation industry that “the camera doesn’t make the photographer”. While it is true a skilled person can make magic with any sort of camera, the camera does in fact matter. A lot. When you’re choosing your wedding filmmaker knowing that they will have professional camera equipment that can match your vision of the final film is equally important as their creative eye and knowledge of documenting a wedding.

This is why I use Canon C80 cinema cameras, 2 in fact. I always have 2 cameras working for backup or extras shots. Then I have a third camera for backup and static shots. The Canon C80 produces a beautifully rich full frame cinema quality image that looks like a Hollywood movie. While the gear doesn’t matter to some, to me it is my paintbrush and paint. My recipe for my art. Just as a painter will choose their tools that inspire them we too should choose cameras that help paint our vision.

I also only use top level lenses that help to complete the image creation vision with unique aesthetics and bursting with character. My selection of gear speaks to me as a wedding filmmaker that way I know I am documenting your day with the very best.

Within 2 weeks of your wedding day I will send over a 1-2 minute sneak peek film with some highlights from the day. After that the main film will be 2-3 months depending on the amount of footage I captured that day or how many hours of coverage you had. It can be sooner or later depending on the workload for the season. I always keep you updated and always in the know. If you chose extended edits I will provide those sooner.

To secure your date with me I require a signed agreement and a date deposit of $500. This is non-refundable but you will see in the agreement breakdown that there are change of date options in the worst case scenario. I want our relationship to be fair for both of us.

I service all areas of Ontario for your wedding including Durham Region, GTA, Toronto, York Region, Barrie and Muskoka and west Ontario like Burlington, Hamilton or Niagara.

I include 1.5 hours of travel from my location, Uxbridge Ontario. If your event is further than 1.5 hours a 200$ travel fee will be applied. After many years photographing and filming weddings, I have learnt that after such a long day of working it is very tough to drive home at night for a long time. This fee will be applied to a hotel to stay the night so I will safely travel the next morning. I do not charge for me time or gas for extra mileage within a 250km radius. Some couples secure a bulk rate for guests to stay over in those cases no travel fee is applied if a room will be booked for me.

Currently I do not offer a same day edit. SDE’s are a great idea to be able to show your guests parts of the day. BUT, and a big but for me, the reason I don’t offer a SDE is because it changes how I have to shoot for the day. On top of that having a large team which I don’t like or do. Since I approach my wedding films from a documentary style the shooting is approach is calmer and more thoughtful than just getting a bunch of fancy shots to throw together a few minutes of flashy footage. The editing is just as intentional to compliment the shooting. While I know SDE’s are all the rage (do kids still say that?) I assure you having the attention on the final film edit while I capture your wedding day is better than a quick SDE.

Colour grading means that each and every shot in your wedding film goes through a finishing touch by me to make sure exposure, contrast, colour and the overall look is cohesive and looking amazing.

I shoot in a colour profile called LOG. It means that the footage I capture for your wedding has a large dynamic range and cinema quality. It is the highest quality available to record in. While it does take a lot more work the result is beautiful and it is the only way I like to record your day.

Your final film will be in 4K resolution that is downloadable view a private link in various formats including a full high quality one and something easily viewable on your phone so you can watch anytime anywhere. Or watch in beautiful movie quality on your largest screen.

YES! While I have a great sense for the flow and feel of the film, I would love for you to have music you enjoy if you want to. I pay for and only use licensed music from reputable artists. We can choose from most songs from musicbed.com with has a huge library of emotional filled songs to accompany your film images.
